Profile

The Institute has a full-fledged placement office to look after Placement activities. The Training and Placement cell provides the official support base for placement of Final year students. The support services that it offers are in the form of arranging On-campus / Pooled-Campus Drives and grooming students to face the final test of their knowledge.
The institute is equipped with a seminar hall having capacity of 400 for holding Pre-Placement Talks and Chambers for conducting interviews.
The 'Core Committee' of the Placement cell includes faculty and student representatives from various disciplines and headed by the Training and Placement Officer manages the activities of the placement cell.

Activities

Sending invitations to the prospective companies / organizations along with all relevant information to conduct the campus recruitment.
Personal visits by the Training and Placement Officer to various companies.
Maintaining a branch -wise list of industries and encourages students to approach the companies independently in case that particular company does not have a policy of Campus Recruitment.
Registering all eligible final year students for the drives in the academic year.
Based on the requirements prescribed by the company, the eligible candidates are invited for appearing for the test/interviews that are conducted by the visiting companies.
The cell communicates information regarding opportunities, to the students even after the completion of the course.
Sri Vasavi Training and Placement Cell is looking forward to reach higher targets of employments for its students by entering into prospective tie ups with esteemed organizations.
