SVEC Physical Education

Sri Vasavi Engineering College, takes interest in providing ample of opportunities and facilities for sports and games activities.The college aims at the holistic development of each student.
SVEC is proud of its endeavours in providing the students with a cemented basketball court, volleyball court, shuttle badminton court, cricket ground, athletic field and gymnasium facilities. The college also provides indoor facilities for table tennis, caroms and chess.The students make the best use of the facilities provided.
The Physical Education division at SVEC provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities.Since students develop and organize their own teams for various games, they have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop their leadership and decision making skills. Wide facilities are provided at SVEC for the development of sports. The Co-ordinator of Physical Education department is responsible for organizing, regulating, and scheduling activities like games, sports fest, intercollegiate competitions etc.

21 June,2015	International day of yoga is conducted by us . The Events are 1.Demo by yoga postures 2.Seminar on Science of Yoga by SVYAS.
23-25 Jan,2015	West Godavari District Inter Polytechnic institutions (boys & girls) games meet-2015 hosted our campus.
8 Dec,2014	We are organized JNTUK yoga team selection trails.
2-6 October,2014	Our college hosted All India Table Tennis championship conducted by (under 14, 17 and 19) National school games Federation of Bharat.
20 Sep,2014	Yoga posture team selections for W.G.Dist Team under 14,17, 19 (boys & girls) Organized by Our College.

Mr. M Karthik Kumar, 13A81A04E5 and his team secured 2nd place in Anveshana Techno Cultural Fest of Volley Ball on 3rd & 4th March 2017 held at Sasi Institute of Technology & Engineering , Tadepalligudem.

Ms.Yalla Naveena, 13A81A0260 and her team secured 4th place in JNTUK Central Zone ( 8 Districts ) Basket Ball Competitions held at Tirumala Engineering College, Narasarao peta on 17th-19th Feb, 2017.

Mr.S Janithaik Kumar, 15A81A0141 got 1 st place in under 65 kgs weight event of Taekwondo state level competition held at D R Goenka Women`s College, Tadepalligudem. organized by AP State Taekwondo Association in the year 2016.

Mr.K.K.V.N.Sai Kumar, 15A81A0122 selected in Tanuku Foot ball team played in FLOW (Foot ball league of west Godavari) matches at Eluru, Tanuku, Tadepalligudem, Jangareddygudem and Narsapuram in November 2016.
