Department Overview

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2011 and has been striving to achieve excellence in teaching, research, consultancy and professional development. Civil engineering, being one of the oldest and most fundamental branches of engineering, plays a crucial role in the development of human civilization. The department focuses on providing high-quality technical education to develop competent and responsible professionals. It follows the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) to ensure that students acquire strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills through a well-structured curriculum. The department offers a B.Tech Civil Engineering with an intake of 60 students and an M.Tech Structural Engineering with an intake of 18 students. These programs are guided by qualified and experienced faculty members, well-equipped laboratories and a conducive academic environment that encourages innovation, research and industry interaction, thereby nurturing skilled engineers for society.
